man, i love the feeling when you just book a vacation. there is something about it that gives you this sense of “instant relaxation,” even though we aren’t even on the vacation yet. and i am so excited, because we finally booked our first hilton grand vacation trip. where are we going? drumroll…we are actually staying right where we live – central florida. i know…probably a little anti-climatic, but with our busy schedules, this was the perfect opportunity to book a staycation!
now, hilton grand vacations has a great selection when it comes to central florida properties, but we ultimately decided on parc soleil. we’ve driven by that location so many times, and each time we tend to go “we should stay there.” so naturally, it seemed like the perfect fit for us! and honestly, it has a great location for a quick weekend trip – nearby the i-drive and disney area.
and the beauty of a staycation, you can spend less on travel and still get away from the normalcy of life in only a few short days. and sometimes, you even tend to experience other things around your own city that you may have not done before. and bonus! we still have a good amount of points left for the year within our allotment. now we just need to figure out what our next trip will be later in the year.
all i know is i am excited to relax by the pool and soak in some sun. the countdown is on…
