wow, am i one lucky girl. keith decided last thursday that we were going on a surprise date on friday evening. literally the only thing i knew was that we were going to be driving to tampa. so needless to say, when friday rolled around i was extremely excited to find out what we were going to be doing. i was so tempted to look up what was in the tampa area that evening, but i wanted to be completely surprised especially after he planned the entire night.
so where did we end up? the miranda lambert: keeper of the flame tour concert at the mid florida credit union amphitheater. and holy moly, was it amazing. she is absolutely incredible in person – and really just owned the stage. it also didn’t hurt that the brothers osborne and kip moore opened for miranda as they were also equally as amazing (and entertaining). the whole night really just had a true country rock vibe – each of them having a little more edge to their music and voices. totally our type of music, but who am i kidding i LOVE country music. and i was truly in shock the entire time – i couldn’t believe that he decided on a whim to buy tickets and surprise me. clearly he knows me very well. but that’s what i love about our relationship – it’s those little things and moments that we will remember. and i certainly know that i will remember this date night forever. stay tuned for more date nights, food adventures and travels to come from #kpsquared.
