all i can say is, what a wonderful weekend.

i was extremely lucky that my daddy and little sister could come to orlando so we could celebrate father’s day with my dad together – which ended up being a great disney weekend. from traveling the world in epcot to character fun at magic kingdom, i don’t think this weekend could’ve been any better (even when we got stuck in downpour rain). i think my favorite moment though was when my dad, sister, keith and i got to visit goofy, donald duck, daisy duck and minnie mouse for a character meet & greet. normally a location that gets fairly busy in the storybook circus area of magic kingdom, we walked in without any wait. the beauty of that – extremely candid moments that we fortunately were also able to catch on camera. thank you disney photopass! i always enjoy visiting this character area, but this truly exceeded every expectation i’ve had. from playing hide and seek with donald to a full on photo shoot with minnie, we just captured so many incredible memories together – ones that we will cherish forever.
and shockingly, the park wasn’t as crowded as i thought it would be for the holiday. we definitely weren’t complaining as we were able to catch a few great rides, in addition to a wonderful lunch at be our guest. absolutely delicious AND we even got to sit in the west wing, how cool?! the best part of this weekend was the fact that it didn’t matter how many rides we went on or how many characters we saw, but about the time spent with family. those are the things that cannot be replaced, always a good reminder.
until next time
xoxo
