yesterday i had the wonderful opportunity to play at the ritz carlton golf club in the peter v. piacenti, sr. memorial golf tournament for the give hope foundation. now don’t let me fool you, i am a terrible golfer. but that is what makes these tournaments fun; pairing up all skill levels of golfers and ultimately just going out there to have a wonderful time. and more importantly raise awareness for the cause at hand. that’s exactly what we did.
now for those of you who don’t know what the give hope foundation is, let me give you a little background. the give hope foundation was established as a non-profit organization in 2005 where they provide support to children and families in central florida who are battling childhood cancer. they also have many programs in place to assist in providing these families the medical, emotional and financial stability needed. between the give hope hero program, the apple-a-day program and the give hope fund, there is so much we can do to support this cause.

now you may be wondering how we actually did in this tournament. with a huge team effort, and a lot of help from my co-worker KJ, we finished at -15. got to love those scramble tournaments. at least i was getting some great tips throughout the day.
