well it’s that time of the week…wine down wednesday. and last night, we decided to open up a 2013 jonathan maltus garagiste from our latest naked wines membership shipment.
and let me tell you, i was extremely excited to try this wine because jonathan maltus is actually a world famous winemaker – specializing in the bordeaux style wines. he’s even received a perfect 100 points from world famous wine critic, robert parker. pretty incredible, if i do say so myself.
this bold and flavorful wine is a limited edition and really hit the spot after a long day of work. paired with our go-to charcuterie board, we enjoyed the well balanced fruit flavors and the slight acidity that came through in this wine. needless to say, i will definitely be purchasing more of his wines in the future.
