last night i had the privilege to attend the orlando magic youth foundation (omyf) black tie and tennies gala. what an amazing event benefiting a wonderful cause. for those of you who don’t know about omyf, this fund was originally started in 1988 and they are committed to helping children in central florida realize their full potential.
now i’m not one to normally dress up in floor length gowns, but it was totally worth it for this cause (i mean we even got to wear tennies with our dresses). and to attend this event with some wonderful people just topped off the night.
i’d have to say the best part of the night was participating in the lip sync battle with some of the orlando magic players. some of the fellas (including keith) and then all the ladies joined in the fun…and yes we have video proof. but ultimately no matter what we did last night, it was truly impacting to me knowing that all of our donations were going to help support programs to empower these families and children to strive to be their best.

i’m excited to now follow the omyf and see all the wonderful things they are doing in the central florida area.
until next time
xoxo
