run 4 love – 2017

happy one year bloggiversary! i cannot believe that it has been a year since i started this blog. amazing how time flies when you are having fun. and hopefully within this past year, i’ve inspired you all to “live in the moment” – even if just once. and on this bloggiversary, i could not think of a better thing to write about than running.

run 4 love

today i completed the run 4 love, presented by florida hospital, 4 mile race over in winter park, florida. yep, you guessed it – another track shack series race is in the books. i can’t believe there is only one more to the running season. going into this race, my goal was to stay within my “pace range” especially with gasparilla half approaching rather quickly. and thankfully – i was able to complete that with ease today. and toward the end, i may have been ignoring my “too fast pace” beeps – i mean when you see the finish line in sight, it’s hard to slow it down. averaging about a 9:50 pace, it was certainly a wonderful day for a race.

and to top it off, i was able to meet and chat with heather schulz after the race. being able to finally meet her, after following her running adventures on instagram, was absolutely incredible. and not only is she an AMAZING runner, but what an awesome person as well. she literally took 10-15 minutes out of her time to learn about my running journey, and continue to motivate and inspire through her words of wisdom. congratulations on your third overall women’s finish – just WOW?!

well, here is to many more years of this blogging adventure. i hope you all have enjoyed year one, and thank you to all of those who have followed, read and supported #kpmoments along the way.

until next time
xoxo
