one of the best parts about a race weekend is the expo. and runDisney’s health & fitness expo didn’t disappoint. then again, i probably bought out most of the stuff there…just kidding. however i did spend my fair share at the expo today.
from official race merchandise to running accessories, you can virtually find anything you need as a runner. it may also push you to make that purchase you’ve been sitting on for about a month. that may have happened to me today with the garmin forerunner 230, best purchase of the day for sure.
but ultimately, it’s so much fun being able to see all of the other runners from around the globe. i mean it’s truly a community and i think that is what gets everyone sucked into running. it’s not about winning or losing, but accomplishing something that you’ve worked so hard for.
speaking of which, it’s about 12 hours until my first race so i better rest up. check back tomorrow for some updates from the 10k.
