wow, what a fun night. this was the first year that i’ve participated in the ioa corporate 5k, and man was it a blast. this event is coined as orlando’s largest office party, and they definitely were not kidding about that. i mean this event has approximately 18,000 people in attendance. and fun fact, this event is exclusively held for florida’s corporate community. crazy, right?!
while there may be some friendly competition, this event is a great way to really celebrate with your fellow co-workers, in addition to interacting with people from the other companies participating in the event. i must say, i think our team (team golf) was rocking tonight. truthfully, it doesn’t hurt that i ran with an amazing bunch of people. i may be a little biased though since i work with them everyday.
and bonus, one more training run down before the star wars half marathon – dark side weekend. 19.3 i’m coming for you.
