as you all know i love a great glass (or two) of wine.
a couple weeks ago i posted about a great membership program through ‘naked wines’ but today i’m going to highlight a delicious wine from roblar winery. now don’t let me fool you, i am also a member to this winery out in california. i actually learned about roblar from a coworker on a business trip and man it did not disappoint. located in the heart of santa barbara county, roblar really produces some rustic and bold wines. honestly i haven’t had a bad wine from there yet.
wednesday night we cracked open the 2014 red field blend “noir”. this blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon, petit verdot and syrah was a perfect combination for a bold yet extremely smooth wine. and with a lot of dark fruit flavor it really gives this wine a nice long finish.
